CAT 2009-10 Results deferred to end of February 2010

Feb 25, 2010 (New Delhi) – Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) is about to make an announcement soon about CAT 2009-2010 Results. The CAT 2009 results deferred to end of February 2010 according to Indian Institutes of Management’s website www.catiim.in. CAT 2009 result will be announced by the third week of February 2010 onwards on the CAT website.
CAT website will also list the names of the candidates short-listed for interviews by IIMs for PGP. Each IIM will send interview letters to the candidates it has short-listed. The criteria for short-listing varies from IIM to IIM. Please visit the admission hotlinks of the respective websites of IIMs for further information.
About 2.42 lakh candidates registered for CAT 2009. In the first administration window (i.e., from November 28th to Dec 8th, 2009) about 2.16 lakh candidates completed the test. About 10% of the total registered applicants (24,000) did not show up for the test – a percentage that is similar to what has been experienced in the past.
